While on a road trip to Denver and using my yelp powers I found what apparently had the reputation of a great Chinese joint! After getting there, taking forever the wait staff to acknowledge us an bring us drinks. The menu was a little underwhelming but had your stereotypical items in it. I got what was suppose to be their best dish.unfortunately It was slimy and tasted like it was warmed up straight from a can. :/ Not sure if these helpers just don't get out much or if they were just on an off day. All 4 of us in the party left unsatisfied. So if your thinking of finding something local and delicious when passing through the area..... Look elsewhere.

Very good Chinese foods. We had the sweet and sour pork which had a lite batter but was perfectly cooked and a well balanced sauce. Also tried the udon noodles with shrimp and chicken. Not too spicy Peppery though. Only complaint was the fried rice was not superb. Mostly it was steamed with bits of egg. We highly recommend the Bamboo Panda

Fast and attentive service. Fair food and prices. Soup isn't included at dinner. They like to charge extra for substitutions, changes, etc. Might be OK for La Junta, but not that great overall.

Love their lunch menu, it has great prices, big selection and you get lots of food. Entree + choice of rice + cup of soup(hot and sour rocks) + either cheese wonton or eggroll. I go crazy over the kung pao combination, hunan beef, and mongolian beef. It is the go-to spot for our team when we go out to eat. They've recently had a fire, and I think they will be closed for a while until October or November of 2015, but I'm anxiously awaiting their re-opening. It's very common for them to bring out meals at the same table at different times, often with very long periods between the time the first plate comes out, and the last. Took me a long time to not be annoyed by this, but it's just what they do.

Best Chinese in Colorado. Have eaten Chinese all over the State and have not had food as consistantly good as here. I have had certain dishes better at other places but not by much. I have had almost the entire menu and I cannot remember a single item I did not like.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
